Reasons you Should Start Circuits

 If you’re looking for a bit of change in your exercise routine here’s my top reasons why you should try circuits…

– It’s a full body workout…
For some, the idea of having a chest day and then a separate leg day sometimes sounds a bit daunting. If you’re looking to tone up all over, circuits train the whole body. Warning…This does lead to a full body ache for the next few days if you’ve worked hard enough.

– You get to know people…
This is a great thing for those just starting out or joined a new gym. You get to know others & sometimes they are a bundle of knowledge which is a perfect time to pick people’s brains… in between circuits of course! Or even better, you could get to know them well enough to hijack their gym workout & there you have your very own gym buddy….

– You can’t get bored of your workout…
Each exercise normally lasts between 30-60seconds, so by the time one exercise is over you’re on to the next… a bit different to that boring 45min jog on the treadmill isn’t it! I go to a Wednesday class & it’s perfect to split up my usual gym time throughout the week.

– You burn fat & tone up…
Two for the price of one.

– You can put your workout planner away…
If you’re like me & you have to plan every workout, unless you’re the trainer you don’t have to worry! The workout is already planned out for you, you just have to turn up.

– A little help with motivation is never far away…
When I train on my own I have to really focus on my motivation and determination to push myself. Circuit’s you have a little Mr Motivator to help you out and encourage you… oh & tell you off when you’re not training hard enough… oops.

– Same time all the time…
Circuits tend to be the same time every week so you can plan your week around your classes. That way the thought of lazing on the sofa at 6pm is off the cards… because you’ve got a date, it’s just a date with the gym…

– It’s great for all levels…
You can work at your own, making it perfect for beginners and the more advanced.
